Amongst the famed apple orchards of Ellijay in Gilmer County, GA lies the county's first vineyard, Cartecay Vineyards. Named for the region of the county in which the vineyard is situated, Cartecay, Cherokee for Bread Valley, has a rich terroir, a combination of factors, including soil, climate and environment, that give our wine unique and distinctive character.
