Blue Ridge Community Theater invites you to "Come Out and Play." There is nothing like the energy you feel when attending a live performance and we are here to help you experience that feeling. Blue Ridge Community Theater's mission is to enrich the cultural life of residents and visitors through performances, productions and education of all aspects of contemporary and classic theater. Blue Ridge Community Theater also offers classes in Beginning and intermediate acting, Beginning Directing and Light and Sound tech for those talented community individuals looking to express themselves.

Blue Ridge Community Theater has been producing theater for over 12 years and bought their own building in 2008 in order to better serve the community. Our theater has 171, all new extra wide theater seats and we’re concessions friendly— all new seats with cup holders.

• 7 Main Stage shows and 12 performances for each show

• 8 weekends of Music Music Music. On weekends between shows, the Theater will be filled with live music featuring regional and national performers.

• All plays run three weeks,Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday matinee at 2:00pm.

• Opening Thursday is Community Benefit Night with 20%
of the ticket sales going to a local charity.

• Opening Weekend Celebrations are the first Friday of each play and include after-show parties with cast & audience “talk backs."

Sunny D Children's Theater

Sunny D. Children's TheaterThe Sunny D Children's Theater provides a fun and educational theater experience for children ages 5 to 18 of Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas. The Sunny D Children's Theater creates a relaxed, fun, and creative setting for children to learn about themselves, build self-esteem and learn to work as a group toward a common goal.

Blue Ridge Community Theater, Inc. is a volunteer ran, nonprofit organization dedicated to quality theater. The purpose of the Blue Ridge Community Theater is to provide an environment which fosters and inspires growth and creativity in people of all ages and cultures through a broad theater arts program.
