The newly built 6,600 square foot timberframe barn sits on 100 acres of beautiful mountain view property. Located in Murphy North Carolina, McGuire's Millrace Farm offers a peaceful and inspirational atmosphere perfect for your next corporate meeting or special event.

McGuire's Millrace Farm and Weddings by the Foster Sisters specialize in providing services for your dream wedding or any other special occasion that you might have. The McGuire's are equipped to provide multiple services to their clients. The atmosphere is perfect for special events. The sound system, two large screens, and a projector are available for events such as the following:

• Meetings • Weddings • Receptions • High School Proms • Conferences • Memorials • Auctions • Workshops • Class Reunions • Holiday Parties • Formal Business Meetings • Retreats

The all-wooden 6,600 square foot structure has a large banquet hall with ample parking and seating for large events. In addition to a banquet area, the facility houses a commercial kitchen, spacious restrooms, and dressing rooms with showers. A large loft can be reached by twin staircases. A view of the downstairs may be enjoyed from the balcony, and a massive stacked stone fireplace enhances the banquet area. Numerous wrought iron chandeliers contribute to the thirty foot ceilings and the elegance of the building. Heavy oak pub tables and oak chairs provide seating for the guests. The dance floor can be adapted to meet the needs of our clients.

Full course meals or finger food receptions are available through Weddings by the Foster Sisters. Our chef can also prepare a specific menu to meet your personal needs as well. Spacious grounds enable events to be held outdoors. Mountain views, fields, pasture, historical buildings, a timber framed arbor, rows of birch trees, and a pond provide beautiful backdrops for pictures.
