Despite the drought, the Hamilton Rhododendron Gardens, the gardens are beautiful, if you are planning a weekend trip to the North Georgia Mountains, take time to stop by and enjoy the flora. Hamilton Rhododendron Gardens is located within the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and has one of the largest collections of Hybrid Rhododendrons in the state of Georgia. Visitors are invited to tour the gardens along their pine bark trail on the shores of Lake Chatuge. Admission is free of charge, but a $3 donation is requested.

Rabun County High School Student's Fundraiser May 19th from  •  10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Wal-Mart/Home Depot Parking Lot in Clayton, GA. Barbeque Plates for $6.00 Money raised will go to benefit Sammy Green one of the long time Foxfire contacts, who is in Hospice Care.
