Unicoi Lake in White County - Helen, North Georgia Mountains

This impoundment supports a fair Bass, Bluegill fishery. Catfish are periodically stocked into the lake. Smith Creek, upstream from the lake, is stocked heavily with catchable trout from April through August and a few trout are caught in the lake as a result.

There are two swimming beaches, a campground, and canoes for rent.
