Carter's Lake in Gilmer County - North Georgia Mountains

Carters Lake

Carters Lake is the deepest man-made lake east of the Mississippi. It offers over 62 miles of uninhabited shoreline.

This Corps of Engineers lake offers sites for sight-seeing, hiking, picnicking, camping, swimming, boating, water skiing, and fishing.
