First Madeleine filled each of the trays full of moist organic black dirt almost full, leaving room for the seeds and a little dirt to put on top. Today we filled 6 trays each containing 2 different vegetables for a total of 12 different vegetables and herbs.
Then we chose one set of seeds at a time and tried to place 2 seeds in each cell. Most of them have more. With little fingers and quite smaller seeds it was herd for her to put only 2 in each. Each set of seeds have 36 cells of possible growth.
We covered each cell with dirt enough to cover the seeds. Placed our plastic dome over the top to see what grows. We should see sprouts within the next 7-14 days.
