Lady Slipper - Cypripedium Acaule

Lady Slipper

The lady slipper is one of the most rare flowers found in the mountains. The flower likes to grow in the woods under trees like pine, oak and maple. It takes a certain kind of fungus for these rare flowers to grow that has not been identified by scientists. This is why it is not a good idea to remove these flowers from there natural environment.
