Academic or Behavior Problems

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, Eckerd Academy of the Blue Ridge, is a licensed and accredited outdoor therapeutic program and alternative school in Suches, GA that accepts boys and girls (ages 10 through 17) who are:

Making poor peer relationship choices Causing conflicts at home, in school or in their communities Acting defiant or entitled Having anger management problems Experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD or oppositional defiant disorder

At Eckerd Academy of the Blue Ridge, students receive an individualized academic and treatment plan that helps them achieve their maximum potential. Students learn how to communicate and solve problems effectively, to accept personal responsibility and to respect themselves and others. Most importantly, they gain the self-esteem and competence needed to navigate the tough road from adolescence to adulthood. If other school or community counseling programs have failed to help your child, Eckerd Academy may be the answer.
